MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT TO MITSUBISHI MOTORS CUSTOMERS
Dear Valued Customers,
Since we opened our doors in this country, Mitsubishi Motors Canada has not only looked to provide reliable products and services but also to contribute to the communities that we serve. Today, that is more necessary than ever.
The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting us all in unprecedented ways. Like you, we believe social distancing is key to recovery and encourage everyone to stay home and stay safe as much as possible.
In our business, we have put safety at the core of all our processes to protect our employees and customers with enhanced hygiene and human resources policies to securely support our vehicle owners. Mitsubishi dealerships have heightened sanitation and have adopted physical distancing measures quickly and thoroughly.
We are here for you
Across the country, government has deemed car service as an essential business. We know that the safe and reliable maintenance of your vehicle is important to you and our dealerships are ready to serve those needs along with the many essential businesses and frontline workers who rely on our care.
We appreciate your understanding that some services or hours may have changed based on location and circumstance and some showrooms may have closed temporarily. It is our goal to minimize disruption to you as much as possible while supporting necessary government regulations and following the strictest safety standards.
Please reach out to your local dealership to find out what services may have changed temporarily. In addition, from roadside assistance to the Customer Service Call Centre, we are here for you. You can contact our call centre at 1-888-576-4878.
Supporting you and the community
COVID-19 continues to have a profound impact on the economy and the everyday finances of the community at large. The need for proper nutrition is acute and the Mitsubishi team is joining our long-term partner Breakfast Club of Canada to help feed families. Immediately, Mitsubishi Motors and its dealers are providing $50,000 for filled food hampers plus a fleet of “Community Utility Vehicles” for logistics across the country. Working together, we hope to make a meaningful difference for children and families.
We know this crisis has impacted our customers financially as well. Mitsubishi Motors Financial Services (MMFS), our vehicle financing partner, is implementing a payment rescheduling plan for up to 90 days on a case-by-case basis and deferred payments on new vehicle purchases. Speak to an MMFS customer service representative for details at: 1-877-739-9837 or [email protected].
Even in the midst of this crisis, we’re reminded that we are connected. We recognize the incredible commitment of Canada’s health professionals and frontline personnel who are working to minimize the impact of this dreadful worldwide health situation. We would also like to thank the Mitsubishi Community – our team and you, our customers for your support.
Together we will weather this storm and emerge stronger.
Please stay healthy and safe.
President and CEO, Mitsubishi Motors Canada
