SUPER ALL-WHEEL CONTROL

No matter the road, Eclipse Cross is ready. Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) comes standard on all models, integrating your vehicle's AWD, Active Stability Control, Anti-Lock Braking and Active Yaw Control systems to offer more predictive handling wherever and whenever you need it.

More Control – Active Yaw Control

This highly advanced system uses real-time data from the Eclipse Cross steering wheel angle, yaw rate, driving torque, braking pressure and wheel speed to detect excessive rotational force on any given wheel. It applies ABS as required to the four wheels to quickly manage wheel speed and maximize traction and control, providing an enhanced, sporty feel in tight corners and improved safety when braking or accelerating in slippery or snow-covered turns.

Turbo Charged Power

The Eclipse Cross’ 1.5 L direct-injection turbo engine gives you that "off-the-line" feeling – a burst of power and pace. Combined with a standard Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and 8-speed Sport Mode, the Eclipse Cross delivers quick and responsive acceleration with dependable fuel efficiency .

Engineered for the Adventurous

The Eclipse Cross S-AWC is designed for driving comfort, responsive handling and safety (you know, all the responsible stuff). Choose from three selectable drive modes with the touch of a button to optimize capability depending on the driving situation (Normal, Snow and Gravel).
