Mitsubishi Motors celebrates dealer excellence
at Triple Diamond Awards


Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada celebrated its top-performing financial services managers, sales manager and sales consultants at the annual Triple Diamond Awards Gala Monday, May 25 in Toronto.

MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 2, 2026 – Mitsubishi Motors Sales of Canada (MMSCAN) honoured its top Financial Services Managers, Sales Managers and Sales Consultants across its dealer network Monday night at the annual Triple Diamond Awards Gala in downtown Toronto.

From its 98 dealerships across the country, 45 were presented with prestigious Triple Diamond awards across a number of categories based on how they performed in their specific roles throughout 2025.

Among the recipients, three individuals earned National Diamond awards, recognizing the highest performance in their categories. These recipients included:

  • Laurentiu Bordianu, General Sales Manager, West Side Mitsubishi (Edmonton)
  • Damien Perera, Financial Services Manager, Waverly Mitsubishi (Winnipeg)
  • Michael Gingras, Sales Consultant, North Side Mitsubishi (Edmonton)

“The Triple Diamond Awards are an important recognization highlighting the work of our dealer teams during a challenging year for the automotive industry across North America,” said Kenichi Kawaji, MMSCAN President and CEO. “Each year, these Triple Diamond recipients set high standards for their colleagues to aim for in the future. They have worked extremely hard over the past year and are well-deserving of the recognition and accolades.”

Thanks to the hard work of its dealer teams, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada marked the second-best sales year on record in 2025 calendar year with total vehicle sales of 37,335 units. Outlander, RVR and Eclipse Cross all had record sales years, while Outlander PHEV was Canada’s best-selling plug-in hybrid vehicle for the third-straight year.
