Rugged Design with Purpose
The 2028 Mitsubishi Outlander Diamond Trail Edition heads a new generation of off-road-capable vehicles, bringing the brand’s heritage in design and off-road ability to a family-focused SUV designed to help explore beyond where the pavement ends.
Exterior
Outlander Diamond Trail Edition stands apart with a rugged and powerful grille, finished in matte black, along with black Dynamic Shield trim. Headlights receive a black finish in keeping with the theme. Redesigned bumpers front and rear are fully off-road-functional, improving approach and departure angles from 18.3 to 20.5 degrees for the front, and from 22.2 to 23.1 degrees in the rear. Aggressive over-fenders provide a rugged finish, and, matched with unique 18x7.5” black alloy wheels and dedicated Nexen Roadian ATX all-terrain tires, make for a confident, trail-ready presence. Raised roof rails allow easy installation of roof racks and to secure cargo, and keep with the off-road-capable theme.
Interior
On the inside, an all-new seating material is finished in dark grey with khaki stitching, unique to the Diamond Trail Edition. This material repels water and is stain resistant, further supporting outdoor lifestyle adventure. Additionally, a unique dark-matte finish is applied to the previously gloss-black interior parts, with a textured finish applied to reduce the chance of scratches marring the finish. The distinct Diamond Trail Edition logo – intended to be representative of skilled athletes on a downhill course, and playing on the motif of the brand’s Three Diamonds - is applied to the seat backs, floor mats and door trim.
Trail Green Metallic
The Outlander Diamond Trail Edition debuts a new colour for the Mitsubishi Motors palette: Trail Green Metallic. It reflects the rugged outdoors with the earth tones usually associated with nature, and can be offset with a white roof.
