2024 Mitsubishi Mirage animated safety features demonstration

The 2024 Mirage takes your safety seriously, with standard features that include: Mitsubishi Motors’ Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) platform, 7-airbag safety engineering, Active Stability Control and Traction Control Logic, a Rearview Camera and much more. The Mirage also features an available suite of advanced technologies to help you get to your destination safe and sound.

Advanced Technology to Keep You Safe

Mitsubishi Motors' Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body utilizes crumple zones to redirect and absorb energy in the event of a collision. Reinforcements are strategically placed at key body points to support the side-impact door beams, giving your Mitsubishi Mirage a stable, secure base.

7 Airbag Safety System

The 2024 Mirage’s airbag system delivers a stronger sense of safety with six standard airbags, including front, front-seat-mounted and side-curtain airbags. We’ve also gone the extra mile and included a seventh underneath the driver's side dashboard (driver’s knee airbag) for extra confidence.

Rear-View Camera System

When you shift into reverse, we’ve got your back. The Mirage’s Rear-View Camera ensures you can see everything behind you when reversing so you can safely back out of the driveway.

The Mirage features a Welcome Light that turns on the second the car is unlocked. On the road, Daytime Running Lights and Automatic High Beam make sure you’re seen, and also light your way. Meanwhile, Auto LED Headlights illuminate your road ahead with a brighter, more efficient light.

Active Stability Control

If your wheels start to lose their grip on slippery surfaces, the 2024 Mirage’s Active Stability Control automatically adjusts engine output and applies a braking force to the appropriate wheels to prevent skidding and keep you stable, safe and secure.

Forecast Calls for Smooth Driving

The Mirage will know it’s raining before you do. When selected, the rain-sensing wipers will turn on automatically in bad weather and adjust to the intensity of the rain and the speed you’re travelling at to keep your windshield clear.
