Level 3: DC Quick Charging

DC quick charging charges the battery up to 80% capacity in about 38 minutes. The Outlander PHEV offers DC quick charging as standard.

Level 2: 240V Charging Station

When you're on the go, you can power up at a 240V public charging station. Level 2 charging is the most commonly used level charging stations in public locations like shopping plazas, train stations and other destinations.

Level 1: Standard 120V Household Outlet

You can simply charge at a regular household outlet. It takes approximately 16 hours from zero to a full charge through a standard 120V 12A outlet.

The system uses electric motors at the front and rear axles for heightened efficiency, handling and instant torque. All-electric driving is powered by the high-capacity 20 kWh lithium-ion main drive battery, developed specifically for the Outlander PHEV. When more power is needed, the Outlander PHEV switches to hybrid driving, utilizing an efficient 2.4L gasoline engine.
When EV mode is selected, the Outlander PHEV offers eco-friendly driving with power coming exclusively from the lithium-ion main drive battery. While running on 100% electric power, the Outlander PHEV produces zero tailpipe emissions and has a low environmental impact. If you need a bit more power, the system will automatically switch to hybrid driving, providing the extra boost you need while still delivering superior overall efficiency.
Equipped with third-row seats as standard, the Outlander PHEV has room for up to seven passengers and additional space for all of your gear.
