EVOLVING THE WAY YOU DRIVE
EFFICIENCY
Power Management Made Easy
Although the Outlander PHEV delivers optimal efficiency automatically, you can also take full control over your vehicle with three driver-selectable EV power management modes. EV Priority Mode prioritizes electric-only driving to enjoy the efficient & environmentally friendly driving. Charge Mode recharges the drive battery using the gas engine as a generator when the battery state of charge is low. Save Mode prioritizes the use of the gas engine to save your drive battery’s charge for when EV driving is more efficient.
REGENERATIVE BRAKING
Charge up as you slow down
PADDLE SHIFTERS
Shift Your Level of Battery Saving
Conveniently located on the steering wheel, the paddle shifters let you adjust the level of regenerative braking. Increasing regenerative braking means you are putting more kinetic energy back into the drive battery, which maintains or extends your EV driving range.
INNOVATIVE PEDAL
Complete Control with One Pedal
The Innovative Pedal lets you control speeding up and slowing down with the accelerator pedal alone. When it’s activated, you can slow down by pushing less on the accelerator pedal while the brake lights come on to warn the car behind you. It applies both regenerative brakes and friction brakes in order to recharge the drive battery to help maintain or extend your EV driving range.
DIGITAL DRIVER DISPLAY AND HEAD-UP DISPLAY
Put Your Information Safely in View
The standard 12.3” full digital driver display delivers customized information in crisp, high resolution, including speed, navigation, safety data, S-AWC settings, battery state of charge, total range, EV modes and much more. Elevate your experience with the available 10.8” full-colour Head-Up Display, which projects relevant driving information onto the windshield, allowing you to stay focused on the road ahead.
MITSUBISHI CONNECT
Control in the Palm of Your Hand
MITSUBISHI CONNECT offers a suite of innovative technologies to give you even more convenience and peace of mind. Using your smartphone, you can pre-heat or pre-cool the cabin, find your vehicle in a crowded parking lot or connect with the Mitsubishi Motors call centre instantly in emergency situations.
